Green Acres, the popular miniature golf and entertainment complex in Midland, is set to become even more family-friendly. Officials have recently announced that the go-kart track will be opened at the east Midland site on January 18th.

According to Jeff Beard, this new addition will provide families with a thrilling activity to enjoy together. This addition will allow families to spend a whole evening participating in different recreational activities such as miniature golf, go-kart racing, and arcade games.

Jeff Beard’s statement to a Telegram reporter, visitors will have the option to purchase a combo pack, including all three activities. Additionally, he mentioned that there is a specific set of rookie karts designed for younger drivers of over 48 inches in height.

He further said they plan to operate single carts for those over 52 inches and double carts for youngsters over the age of 16.

Beard pointed out that the Green Acres course has elevated turns, which provides a distinct and unique experience compared to regular flat tracks.

In January 2022, the Midland City Council sanctioned the construction of a go-kart track. The location of Green Acres is at 2905 E. Highway 80. With the help of the Dunn family, Beard successfully revived the miniature golf course and reopened it in July 2021.
